MEDICAL IMAGING & ULTRASOUND

Published imaging research

Our research archive includes a 1989 publication on MR-gated intracranial cerebrospinal-fluid dynamics, a 2017 PET/MRI mouse study of colour processing, and a 2008 high-frequency ultrasound imaging study. The images are provided for historical and educational purposes and do not indicate which imaging services are currently available.

EVIDENCE AND CURRENT SERVICES

What the published imaging studies show

The 2017 work demonstrated that in animals, colour processing occurred in the right hemisphere of the brain in female mice but in the left hemisphere in male mice. In lower primates, the trend is the opposite that is seen in the human brain.
