Left: Prof. Dr. Philip Njemanze, MD Hons.
Academician Prince Prof. Dr. Philip Chidi Njemanze is a Nigerian neuroscientist and international researcher, and Chairman of the International Institutes of Advanced Research and Training (Chidicon) in Owerri, Nigeria. His research has explored transcranial Doppler methods and brain-function lateralization, as well as proposed non-invasive brain–computer interface concepts.
Center: Raymond George Gosling (15 July 1926 – 18 May 2015) was a British scientist. While a PhD student at King's College, London he worked under the supervision of Maurice Wilkins and Rosalind Franklin. The crystallographic experiments of Franklin and Gosling, together with others by Wilkins, produced data that helped James Watson and Francis Crick to infer the structure of DNA.
Right: Prof. Dr. med. Fernand Ries (often referenced as Ferdinand Ries) is a prominent German neurologist and professor associated with the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital Bonn (UKB). He worked on using air microbubbles as contrast agent for transcranial Doppler sonography.
